Silk Road Travel Tours - Flight Pro Sim Vs Flight Simulator X - Who Wins?
Then you're going to want to buy one of them; or are just looking for a top gaming experience, if you want to learn to fly, there are lots of flight simulator programs on the market and,  .
And I'm talking lots. A top-of-the-rage video card and lots and lots of hard drive space, it's a very good program BUT be warned: It requires a huge amount of memory. Given Microsoft's domination in most areas of software technology it's only natural that you'll want to check out their Flight Simulator X.
Read the reviews
Don't just take my word for it - here's a direct quote from another Amazon reviewer: Another couldn't even get it to install! One reviewer on Amazon set aside 100Gb for his installation.

Video/audio cards need to be current, all your drivers. You are not current, if you cannot or do not do windows updates. It most likely will not be stable, if you have a computer over 1 year old running XP or Vista. It will not work, top of the line system, up-to-date, if you do not have a stable, beware.
With dual core and at least 2 GHz speed, 4 Gb is best, you need at least 2 Gb of memory. 512 Mb is best, your video card needs to be at least 256 Mb.

Open source
This is the third piece of OS software I've bought and they've all offered great value and great performance. I'm now a great convert to open source programming projects.
